Right now my kids are home on Fall break so here is a fun kids craft. If your kids are like mine you hear
”I’m bored”, 1000′s of times a day during any school break. Here is a fun craft your kids will love.
We made Halloween Necklaces, and Magnets…
First thing you need to do is make Bakers Clay. SUPER EASY!
2 Cups Flour
1/2 Cup Salt
1 1/4 Cups Water
Mix it all together and knead it to make sure there are no clumps.
Then Roll it out to about 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick, Use mini shape cutters to cut out your project. We made Pumpkins, Witches Hats, Bats, Frankensteins, and Kitty Cats.
Then put them in the oven. (350 for about 20-30 min) Check them so they don’t burn.
Once they are cooled off, find the ones you want for your necklaces and carefully drill a hole in the top.
Next PAINT, PAINT, PAINT!
After you are done painting, let them dry. The ones you didn’t drill holes in, glue magnets to the back and use them to show off your kids creative art work.
The ones you are using for necklaces, put a Jump Ring through the hole (you can find Jump rings at your craft stores, in the Jewelry Section). Thread some ribbon through it. I just tie them on my kids with a bow. Easy on, easy off!!
